Hubs typically seem to fall into two general categories: light and very expensive or heavy and cheap. With this typical bike industry paradigm, we saw an opportunity. You see, for years we've been using high-end geared hubs from the manufacturer of our track offerings on our personal bikes. They are very lightweight (peep the specs) and just plain work. We decided to finally make those hubs available to you and corner the market in our own category: lightweight, affordable, and incredibly practical. We've ridden them on all kinds of bikes from the Electric Queen to the Mr. Pink and we're in love. They are reliable, dang light and very reasonably priced. We offer the Go-Devil in a minimal amount of configurations and ship them with all the necessary endcaps and a quick release skewer, future proofing them in case you want to use them on various bikes over the years. Quick Release lever and 12mm thru-axle endcaps are included. On all models we spec high-quality made in Japan stainless-steel sealed bearings. The splined freehubs have 28 points of engagement, the XD driver has 56. Oh, and we've got polished options as well. The Clutch Hub is a traditional clutch-based coaster hub design that eliminates all of the problematic elements on ordinary hubs and only keeps the parts that work. A new, super-strong FULL 14mm axle, bearing configuration, and drag mechanism design stops the need for constant repairs. Equipped with external slack adjustment, which can be done with a 2.5mm hex key through a hub shell access hole (can be adjusted without removing the wheel), and an improved plastic hub guard spec. The Boulevard front wheel features the Kink Boulevard hub and is laced up to the Kink Atlas rim. This 36-hole wheel is hand laced, then tightened and trued to specifications. It’s 3x lacing pattern, 14-gauge spokes and brass nipples provide massive strength to stand up to plenty of riding abuse. All Kink wheels are wrapped with a Kink rim strip to provide increased protection between the rim and tube.

The Kink BMX East-Coaster DTC freecoaster hub is based on the traditional and proven KHE style internals. For a full range of slack options, from small to big, three slack adjustment washers are included. This hub features a tough 14mm heat-treated chromoly axle, and a special angular contact bearing for additional side load support. The custom aluminum hardware cone is also compatible with the Kink Rear nylon hub guard. Our new Dual Threaded Clutch (DTC) system allows both LHD or RHD drivers to be installed, without opening the hub or replacing the clutch. Now you can simply replace the driver to change drive sides.
