The Kink BMX East-Coaster DTC freecoaster hub is based on the traditional and proven KHE style internals. For a full range of slack options, from small to big, three slack adjustment washers are included. This hub features a tough 14mm heat-treated chromoly axle, and a special angular contact bearing for additional side load support. The custom aluminum hardware cone is also compatible with the Kink Rear nylon hub guard. Our new Dual Threaded Clutch (DTC) system allows both LHD or RHD drivers to be installed, without opening the hub or replacing the clutch. Now you can simply replace the driver to change drive sides.

All Kink wheels are wrapped with a Kink rim strip to provide increased protection between the rim and tube.

The Kink Pillar cranks use a unique one piece forged backplate that tie together the pedal and spindle bosses, while acting as an extremely stiff backbone to each crank arm. This design eliminates several weak points found in traditional tubular cranks, and increases the overall strength without adding weight.

As the name implies, the Pillar 24 cranks are our 24mm version of the proven Pillar cranks. In additional to a much improved strength to weight ratio, the 24mm (23.8mm) spindle means sprockets mount directly without the need of added adapters. The Pillar 24 cranks use the same exclusive single piece forged backplate found in the original Pillar cranks, that tie together the pedal and spindle bosses.

Kink CST forks (CST being short for CAST) aren't your average forks. The first standout feature on these forks are the dropouts which are investment cast, allowing for a design that greatly increases the strength without adding too much weight or bulk. These dropouts are all about putting the material where you need it, and not where you don't. In addition to the dropouts, the forks feature tapered and internally butted fork legs; a one-piece, fully CNC-machined steerer tube; fork blade ends relieved for peg clearance; and flush inner fork legs for great hub guard clearance. A custom-formed fork leg profile also improves fork leg and steerer tube junction strength by adding increased welding surface.
