There are no two ways about it: Dave Mirra was the spark that revitalized Haro in the mid 1990s. Gone were the days of Bob Haro and Ron Wilkerson behind the brand's direction -- it was now Dave Mirra and Ryan Nyquist designing complete bikes that were affordable, high quality and available worldwide to a new legion of BMX fans. A few years later, the X Games hit, and suddenly, Dave Mirra's signature Haro was on every TV screen of an ESPN subscriber, and demand for his signature bikes and components sky rocketed. Mirra remained an esteemed member of the Haro team through the end of 2006, and then started his own brand, Mirraco, for the remainder of his BMX career. But the majority of Mirra's accomplishments at the top of the sport were done on a signature Haro, and it's where most of us remember him best. Now, to honor Dave Mirra, Haro is releasing a tribute Dave Mirra bike, with a bulk of the sales proceeds going directly to the Mirra family. The Race Lite Mini is the first model in the Race Lite series to use 20" wheels. Much like the Micro Mini, the Mini is designed around a 6061 alloy frame with race specific geometry. Sealed bearings are found throughout the 20" alloy wheel set and 3 piece alloy race cranks for fast and smooth operation with minimal resistance. Artist Steve Caballero and Haro have collaborated on this brand new Caballero 27.5. Steve has been a fan of Haro and BMX since his earliest years. Rising further up the size scale is the Race Lite Junior. The Annex line offers a wide variety of sizes, and the next size up from the Mini is the Annex Junior. The Junior comes equipped with a 18.3" top tube,6061 alloy frame,and 155mm 3-piece alloy cranks appropriately sized for great handling and final drive ratio. Steering you in the right direction are a 100% chromoly fork coupled with alloy bars and a front-load alloy stem. The Race Lite Micro Mini is the smallest of all Haro's BMX race bikes, but don't let its small size fool you because this bad boy is packed with features. The light weight 6061 alloy frame utilizes an integrated head tube and 3D dropouts with integrated chain adjusters along with rider friendly geometry for fast yet stable handling characteristics. The 3 piece alloy race cranks and 18" 28 spoke alloy wheel set all ride on sealed bearings which transfer the power to the ground with minimal rolling resistance.
